}Rename an app
Rename an app or change its description. Nothing here touches the running container.
hostname is the app’s DNS label — its container hostname and the name group peers resolve it by — so changing it also moves the app’s managed domain. It must be unique inside a group, where a duplicate would be a name that answers as either app; outside one, duplicates are allowed on purpose.
Environment variables are PATCH /apps/{id}/environment, and changing template or version is POST /apps/{id}/reinstall — that one rebuilds the container. The plan cannot be changed here: resources are what the subscription bills for.
