}Read the container's logs
The container’s recent output, as text.
GET /apps/{id}/attach carries the same output live, but a WebSocket is not something a script or an agent can call — it has to hold a connection open and then decide for itself when output has stopped. This returns a bounded snapshot instead, which is what “show me why it crashed” actually needs.
Works on a stopped app. Docker keeps a container’s logs until the container is removed, and a container that died on boot is exactly when its last lines matter most.
tail counts lines from the end and is capped at 5000. since takes an ISO timestamp and returns only what was produced after it.
