Nothing here touches the running container. `hostname` is the app's DNS label — its container hostname and the name group peers resolve it by — so changing it also moves the app's managed domain. It must be unique inside a group, where a duplicate would be a name that answers as either app; outside one, duplicates are allowed on purpose. Environment variables are `PATCH /apps/{id}/environment`, and changing template or version is `POST /apps/{id}/reinstall` — that one rebuilds the container.
